A while back I read about
Guerrilla Knitting and always thought it seemed like a very Portland thing to do but had never actually seen any in person.
Which is why I
may have squealed with excitement when I saw this:

I wish someone would knit pole warmers for the poles in my neighborhood.

There's a very cold-looking telephone pole on the corner of our property. I wonder what my neighbors would think if I did some decorating. Then again, do I really care what they think?
jodi: fuck the neighbors. warm your pole. (ha! thats a great name for a porno.)
OMG, you crack me up.
Yes, that is very Portland...put a bird on it...
That's just quirky cool. Portland reminds me a bit of Austin. I really would like to live somewhere like that.
my heart is now warmed by the idea of me tammie and jodi getting together and running the streets of portland with sticks, hooks, and yarn.
let's do this someday, okay?
That would be some serious fun Mandy....Can we persuade Dani to join us too? She's a master with a hook-in-hand.
I love this. Maybe some covert crochet action could jazz up my Oak Forest section of H-town.
