Meet Mr. Fox.
I won him over at Annie's. I don't enter a lot of giveaways in blog land anymore. Since moving to Oregon I've really made the conscious decision to only bring things into my home that I truly love. And while sometimes I'm tempted by the allure of free stuff, most giveaways are of things I just don't need or love.
But I've loved Annie's work for a while. She may not be aware of it, but I've been harmlessly stalking her in blogland for quite some time. When I saw she was doing a giveaway I just knew I had to enter. I was over the moon when I found out I won.
Seriously, who could resist this face?
If you want your own Mr. Fox, Annie has an Etsy shop, Bird and Little Bird, where you can buy a pattern, a kit, or a ready made critter of your liking. Thanks again Annie!

And just so you know I harmlessly stalk both you and Annie...
kat: ha! stalking is fun isnt it?
Very cute....I would have entered had I known. And thank you for the package that arrived yesterday. I was completely blown away. You brought me much joy!
What a nice foxy gentleman! Lucky you! I was hoping to win one of Beck's bunnies this week. Never mind.
I love your philosophy of choosing what things you let over your new threshold. Very smart.
How fun! I LOVE LOVE LOVE getting good mail. :)
heather: thank you. in reality it goes totally against my nature. im definitely a bit of a collector. my natural inclination is to bring stuff in. but after the move and having to downsize, i realized how much of a hassle having so much stuff was.
jodi: so glad it arrived safely. i hope you can use some of it. :)
That's very cute!
wow, beautiful!
Love him! His little face is so cute!
This is exactly why I should have been keeping up with my Reader. I love her work, too, especially her foxes. I even bought a pattern last year thinking I would whip one out for a Christmas present. That never happened. This was before she started selling the kits. I *think* if I had bought the kit, I *might* have actually made it. Congrats on your rad score.
